You Capture- Week 5
>> Thursday, March 26, 2009
Hello all my blogger friends out there. It's time again for the You Capture challenge. This week I'm posting to you live from Arkansas. If your a regular reader of my blog, you know that I live in NW Indiana with the kids while The Husband works 488 miles away in Arkansas. Since it's Spring Break time for my kids, I headed down to see him for a few days.
This photo was taken just a few moments ago and I went "old school" and used a mirror for my reflection shot. The Husband has all these cool things in his front yard and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to take pictures of them. If anyone has a clue what they are please let me know. This is also my Year of Mornings ( 40/365) for today for those of you keeping track.
PS- A little dig to all my NW Indiana readers out there- The high today for Arkansas 70 ...... do you hate me yet? LOL
19 Love Notes:
Awesome reflection. Is that granite? I am obsessed with taking pictures of things reflecting off my granite!
The color of the flower is really great with the colors of the background reflection.
Hey Terri...you know what you can do with your weather report, yes?
That looks like a seed from a sweet gum tree...
love it, good job, ENJOY YOUR WARMER WEATHER *grumble grumble*
Why it's space bug, monkey ball, bommyknocker! OK, it's really the fruit of the American Sweetgum tree. Or you can google, Liquidambar styraciflua. I tried to paste the link here, but no luck!
Anyway, I think this is a beautiful shot!

Very cool shot, great reflection! I don't know what those things are either but I have them in my yard too :)
Beautiful shot. Very clever.

So beautiful!!!
That's an almost flawless reflection. Very nice!
Love the shot!
Beautiful reflection. Nice catch. Not a nice dig for NW IN people though because I'm from there but we're "vacationing" in Colorado Springs and, yes, we're having an authentic blizzard.
That's a great shot! My girls call them spikey balls, which doens't sound great, so, just spike for short.
very cool reflections shot
Great job. Perfect reflection.
I love this so much. Great capture!
I hope you are having a great time! (don't come back on Sunday when it's supposed to snow, m'kay?)
It reminds me of the clover in Horton Hears a Who. I love it!
I love the colors! Great morning capture.
