Almost busted

A really good friend of the husband just called to ask me a question. The husband was standing right there when the call came. All the friend got was simple yes or no answers, rude yes, but thankfully he did ask if the husband was standing there. 

I had to scramble to come up with a "lie" as to who I was talking to.
